MERCY OF GOD AND THE END-TIME The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy. (Psa 103:8) Mercy is defined as a compassionate disposition. A disposition to be compassionate or forgiving of others. This has been a wonderful and loving character of God almighty for many centuries and from generation to generation. God the Father has always demonstrated how loving He is to humanity but on most occasion we have taken His Compassion for granted. We run to God crying for mercy from time to time but are unwilling to reciprocate His mercy by living a righteous and holy life. For the first man and woman, God showed mercy by clothing them after they sinned. The punishment they received for humanity was even cancelled shortly after the flood in the time of Noah.
